GET INVOLVED

Our mission at Our Saviour is to Connect to Christ and Community. Accomplishing this mission goes beyond Sunday Worship services. We believe it is important to connect to a community that helps you live out your faith in Christ. We also believe being a part of a church family encourages that connection. We pray you will consider joining a small group, or serving as a volunteer, we’re here to help and encourage you.

SMALL GROUPS

Small Groups are at the heart of the Church of Our Saviour. These are groups of 8-12 people who meet together regularly to socialize, study the Bible, pray for one another and share life together.

Small Groups are about loving one another and encouraging each other into a deeper relationship with God. Groups meet at various times and locations on Kiawah, Seabrook, and Johns Islands. Visit us online or at the Connection Center to find a group that’s right for you.

DISCOVER OUR SAVIOUR

Discover Our Saviour is an informational session offered various times throughout the year for anyone who is interested in hearing more about the Vision/Values of Our Saviour, who we are in relation to the Global Anglican Church, or what the word Anglican even means. This is a great place to take your next steps at getting connected within the church.

Whether that’s finding a small group, the best place to use your gifts to serve the church, or become a member, Discover Our Saviour will help you get connected.

ALPHA

The ALPHA course is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life with others in a relaxed setting over seven thought-provoking evening sessions and also one Saturday day session. Each session begins with supper, followed by a half-hour engaging talk leading to small group conversations about the evening’s topic. Sample discussion questions include “Is there more to life than this? or “Who is Jesus? or “How can I have faith?”

This is a terrific Next Step for anyone who is new here at Our Saviour, anyone who is looking to connect with others or simply anyone who is interested in learning more about having a relationship with Jesus.

Each evening session will last about two hours and is available at no charge. Donations to help cover the meal’s cost are always appreciated, but not required. Childcare is provided.

SERVE THE CHURCH

We believe that God has uniquely gifted everyone to serve both in the church and outside the church. Within the church there are many opportunities to share your gifts, such as, welcoming people, serving at the altar, helping with the nursery, providing technical support, and participating in the musical aspects of worship.

Opportunities to serve outside the church include  visiting the home bound, delivering meals, teaching kids how to swim, and even a sewing ministry.  Reaching farther out into the world, Our Saviour members have also served on mission trips to Mexico, Ethiopia, Cuba, and Romania.
